Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations: Exterior - Ralph Abdel Kader

Ralph Abdel Kader was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations: Principality Monte de Agrella in July, 2018. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Kader was an Honorary Ambassador-at-Large, Plenipotentiary and Special Envoy to H.S.H. Immanuel the Sovereign Prince of Monte de Agrella since May, 2015.

Mr. Kader holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Civil Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as an MBA from the Central Missouri State University, and a PhD in Information Technology. Mr. Kader speaks fluent English and Arabic, and maintains a proficiency in French. Mr. Kader is the CEO for the International Federation for Peace and Sustainable Development (IFPSD), alongside with his wife Sally Shatila Kader, the co-founder and President, to collaborate this bipartisan, non-profit and non-governmental organization, which has seventeen Chapters around the world with its Head Quarters located in New York City. Mr. Kader has worked on promoting peace and sustainable development across the world with tremendous efforts in their programs that include: Human Rights, Youth Leadership, Women and girls Empowerment, Education, Interfaith Dialogue, Cultural Heritage, and working against Human Trafficking. His duty and responsibility at the organization is to reaffirm the commitment of the United Nations to promote peace across continents and to pursue environments that succeed in sustainable development.


Mr. Ralph Kader worked for several Fortunes 500 companies after his graduation from the University, including AT&T, Schering plough, RJ Reynolds and Xerox corp. Mr. Kader then joined the United Nations in 1980 and over the course of three decades rose through the ranks with Secretary General Kofi Annan. He served in diplomatic missions around the world and worked with five United Nations Secretary-Generals (S-G Kurt Waldheim, S-G Javier Perez De Cuellar, S-G Boutros Boutros-Ghali, S-G Kofi Annan and S-G Ban Ki-Moon) His missions including: Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, and Western Sahara among others and has relations with many officials in the Arab world.


While at the United Nations, Mr. Kader was appointed as the special liaison officer to Algeria and Morocco on behalf of the United Nations Peacekeeping Operations. There Mr. Kader worked to negotiate peace settlement between the Moroccan and the Western Sahara people. His last four posts with United Nations were all executive positions as Chief of Information Systems for the Department of Peacekeeping Operations in the Military Division. He is working now as a special Advisor to the Arab States Governments in Military Peacekeeping issues.


Mr. Kader is a veteran of the United Nations and brings with him 38 years of expertise and experience in the various fields of International Relations Cooperation, Peacekeeping and Conflict Prevention, and Surveillance Initiatives, and has status as a United Nations executive and Head of Information Technology Department of Peacekeeping Operations as well as President of Communication and Technology Club at the United Nations. His tenure has included serving on numerous diplomatic and cooperative missions around the world and working on all-inclusive peace initiatives with the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations.


Mr. Kader has built up long-lasting relations with many Heads of State, Presidents and Prime Ministers, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and others including most Ambassadors of ‘Permanent Missions’ to the United Nations, primarily in New York at the United Nations Organization Headquarters, as well as in Geneva, Vienna, and Nairobi.


Mr. Ralph Kader values highly the commitment of the United Nations to build peace through continents. He functions with everlasting efforts towards international peace and operates on passion and dedication, with a fervent commitment to the international community.
